Goldendoodles are the result of the purposeful breeding of Golden Retrievers and Poodles and were first bred in the 1990’s.  Being a hybrid of the most intelligent dog breeds, Goldendoodles are very smart and are easily trainable.  Goldendoodles have a sensitive and intuitive nature – a genetic gift from their Golden Retriever parent.  The Poodle parent  often contributes a nonshedding, allergy-friendly coat in addition to their superior intelligence.

We raise F1B Miniature Goldendoodles.  F1B’s are 25% Golden Retriever and 75% Poodle. The backcross (F1B) Goldendoodle is produced by crossing an F1 (50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle) Goldendoodle with a purebred Poodle. These dogs will have a higher success rate for non-shedding, and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.  When our F1 Miniature Goldendoodle is cross-bred to a miniature Poodle, we can get a bit smaller pet ranging from 15-25 lbs.
